Obsidian Bide Art Gallery and Studio provides a professional, accessible and affordable gallery space that is available for hire to artists at any stage of their career to develop new ideas or to engage new audiences.

The gallery aims to present innovative, contemporary Art Exhibitions and experiences to both local and visiting audiences

THE EXHIBITION PACKAGE INCLUDES:

✔  Gallery hire for 4 week minimum period

✔  Design + printing of promotional materials

✔  Website + social media promotion

✔  Email marketing campaign

✔  Installation assistance

✔  Opening event support

✔  Exhibition catalogue + labels

✔  Gallery staffing during opening hours

✔  Support to develop engagement opportunities and grow your audience

✔ 1 hr one on one consultation to discuss your project and how to make the most of your exhibition

✔ Discounted venue hire rate = $25 for a full day/4 hrs - during exhibition period only - host a workshop/class/event.**Artist requires own public liability insurance for workshops

cost:

Exhibition Fee: $1685 inc GST

Deposit: $421.25 non-refundable deposit required to confirm booking.

Commission: Obsidian Bide retains no commission on artwork sales.

Additional one-on-one support services are available to Exhibiting Artists at $50/hour. These services are designed to support artists at any stage of their creative or professional development and can be tailored to individual needs.

Grant Writing Assistance

Support with:grant applications,project planning, budgets and timelines,artist statements and support material editing and feedback, funding research and opportunities.

Marketing + Promotion Support

Support with:social media strategy,Instagram and Facebook promotion.exhibition marketing plans, Canva and promotional design, email marketing assistance, event promotion, audience engagement ideas, improving visibility and reach online, ticketing for workshops and classes

Professional Practice and Portfolio Development

Support with:writing artist CVs and bios,exhibition proposals and statements,portfolio development, pricing artwork, preparing for exhibitions, workshop planning, professional documentation.
