Connection: An exhibition of art and friendship

A shared art class. A few conversations. Plenty of laughter. And somewhere along the way, a friendship.
Connection brings together eight women whose love of making art grew into a circle of support, encouragement and creative discovery.
The Wednesday ART Sistas each have their own style, favourite materials and stories to tell. Across painting, drawing and mixed media, their works explore nature, people, memories and the beauty found in everyday life.
Some returned to art after years spent working or caring for others. Some discovered a fresh sense of possibility. For others, making art became a welcome space to pause, rebuild and reconnect with themselves.
What they share is the encouragement that comes from creating together: trying something new, working through a tricky patch, and having someone beside you who says, “Keep going.”
This exhibition celebrates the art—and the friendships that helped it happen.

WORKSHOPS
Join exhibiting artist Jen Dupree for creative workshops during the exhibition.
Saturday 14 November 2026: 10am–12:30pm - Create a unique painted patchwork landscape.
Sunday 22 November 2026: 10am–12:30pm - Learn how to collage one of Jen's countryside collages.
Cost: $20 per workshop
Ages: 10 and over
Places: Maximum 10 participants per session
